Announcing our $3B milestone and pre-seed round at QFlow.ai
I’m excited to announce that QFlow.ai has successfully raised a pre-seed round led by Precursor Ventures, with participation from K5 Tokyo Black.
We’ve been relentlessly focused on building a platform that tackles the toughest challenges in planning, tracking, and tuning GTM performance. We’re specifically focused on Finance teams, next-gen RevOps teams, and CEOs and Boards of Directors.
The problem we’re solving is deeply personal. Leveraging data to align people has been my secret weapon. However, simply consolidating data wasn’t enough; trust in the process is essential for an executive team to align and drive their teams effectively.
This alignment most crucial when it comes to growth and efficiency—top priorities for almost every organization. CEOs and CFOs hold the reins on resource allocation, but the options they have are broken if they really want to leverage GTM data for forecasting and decision support:
- Buy a hyped-up FP&A tool that ends up taking a rudimentary approach to growth (you end up in spreadsheets)
- Coerce the traditional data stack (even paying top dollar, you still end up in silos and spreadsheets)
This means delays, doubts, and lack of visibility, resulting in high latency between data acquisition and decision-making.
The good news is that times are changing. The data is there to prove it. Recently, we surpassed $3B in processed ARR bookings, underscoring the impact of our work.
The new world of GTM Finance is now within reach
The real costs of the outdated approach for growth planning are opportunity costs and strategic mis-steps discovered too late.
There’s a reason high-growth companies like Looker, Outreach, Snowflake, Twilio, and Docker built out GTM Finance teams to support massive growth. They were thoughtful.
Most everyone else has been living in the old world.
In the old world, while you’re double-checking conversion rates in Excel, someone whose company does GTM Finance is optimizing their marketing budget with early warning signals.
… while you’re waiting for a new Tableau dashboard, someone whose company does GTM Finance gets their answer instantly from QPilot, and has maybe even eliminated Tableau.
… while you dread sales attrition due to poorly set goals, someone is building a culture of winning — and winning efficiently.
… while you’re frustrated in an executive meeting, someone whose company does GTM Finance arrives confident, informed, and ready with insights from an automatically generated Business Digest.
Raising our first institutional round is a big step toward our vision of delivering the firepower of a 10-person GTM Finance team in a box. (That includes data engineers and dedicated analysts.)
We’re using the funds to educate our market, invest in compliance, and stay true to our product-first roots.
In the coming months, the stark differences between the old and new worlds of strategic planning and analysis and the new world will become even more evident.
So who’s new in our corner?
We’re thrilled to have Charles Hudson at Precursor Ventures and Keenan Rice at K5 Tokyo Black supporting our vision for this new era of growth planning and analysis.
Charles Hudson practically invented the pre-seed round and understands the credibility gap that results when executive teams present misaligned growth and efficiency metrics. Keenan Rice, Looker’s first business hire, knows the struggles of customizing tools (even Looker itself) to meet business needs—struggles that QFlow.ai addresses out of the box.
How can you get involved in GTM Finance?
You don’t need a GTM Finance team — or even RevOps or Finance — to get started.
You can embrace a GTM Finance mindset starting from the top.
Here are a few ways you can get involved:
Create your QFlow.ai account
QFlow.ai is the fastest way to get doing with about 20 minutes of effort and is operational same-day.
We’re hiring!
We’re looking for an awesome UX designer and full-stack engineers. We’ll soon be hiring in customer success, marketing, and sales.
